Fall 2022 JEDI Book Pick
The JEDI committee hosted a book club, Black Faces, White Spaces: Reimagining the Relationship of African Americans to the Great Outdoors by Carolyn Finney in the fall of 2022. This informal book study helped broaden understanding and awareness of the issues surrounding access and inclusion for people of color in the great outdoors by considering the historical perspective of African Americans.
