As a dedicated professional in environmental education, I hold teaching roles in the Biology Department and the Environmental Studies Program at UW Oshkosh. Besides teaching, I advise the Student Environmental Action Coalition and Sustainable Beekeeping Club and also work on water quality research on Lake Winnebago at UWO.  I am also heavily involved in environmental advocacy. I am presently serving as the president of the Wild Ones Fox Valley area and the co-leader of the Citizens' Climate Lobby Oshkosh chapter.

In my leisure time, I enjoy homesteading. I like to play in the dirt at my hobby farm where I tend to a variety of feathered and furry friends. Ten years ago, my journey led me to the countryside where I restored old farmland to native habitats. I am skilled in ecological restoration, climate science, water resources, terrestrial and aquatic invasive species, and program management.
