Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center

Rachael currently works as an on-site and accessibility program coordinator at a residential outdoor learning center. In her work, she spends her days exploring the woods with students of all abilities, mentoring new naturalists, and thinking strategically about expanding access to the outdoors. Before moving to Wisconsin, various professional experiences shaped her educational philosophy from winter survival classes at Wolf Ridge to BWCA trips with Autistic teens for Camp Courage, to astronomy classes in the mountains of California at Pathfinder Ranch. In her free time, she loves to cross-country ski, kayak down the Wisconsin river, and make quiches with her family.
