Hannah Bunting

Chair

Lussier Community Education Center

Raised in Middleton and educated at UW-Madison, Hannah is a Wisconsin gal at heart with a deep love for all things cheese and Bucky. Having received her B.S. in Community and Nonprofit Leadership with certificates in African-American Studies, Environmental Studies & Global Health in 2018, Hannah jumped right into the world of nonprofits post-graduation where she worked for a wide range of organizations. Hannah's passion for encouraging people to get outside and for finding fun and inclusive solutions that give people of all backgrounds the opportunity to enjoy nature led her to pursue a Master's in Natural Resources with an emphasis on Environmental Education at UW-Stevens Point, which she completed in 2021. Currently, Hannah works at the Lussier Community Education Center as their Community Engagement Manager overseeing their wide range of social services. When Hannah is not working, she can be found reading (for fun!), hiking, paddling, or training her 2 year old Aussiedoodle, Harry. Hannah is thrilled to be returning to the WAEE Board and is looking forward to continuing her work on the JEDI Committee.
