Grace is a Graduate Candidate at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point earning her M.S. in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Environmental Education and Interpretation. As a part of her graduate assistantship, she has spent the last two summers directing an environmentally focused summer camp based out of the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station. Additionally, during the school year she provides mentorship for undergraduates earning their degrees in Environmental Education. Her research focuses on climate change education in Wisconsin and how teacher candidates are being prepared to bring climate change education into their future classrooms. Before returning to school for her graduate degree, Grace spent four years in formal education working with preschool students at a nature-based early childhood education center in Vermont and teaching Environmental Science to high schoolers in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is excited to be a part of the WAEE team as a student board member where she hopes to make an impact and learn from experts in the field.
