WAEE Members include teachers, administrators, environmental educators, natural resource professionals, students, supporters, and volunteers. Besides individuals, organizational memberships are available for schools and districts, governmental, not-for-profit, and private entities whose missions align with our work. Memberships are subject to approval.

Family Discount: Two individuals from the same household can join under the "Family Membership" rate of $60.
Individual Life Membership is available for a one-time fee of $750. Life members get an additional benefit of recognition at the annual conference.

Outdoor Learning Store
The Outdoor Learning Store provides easy access to excellent outdoor learning equipment and resources (like these nature guides - choose Wisconsin from the dropdown menu) to schools and organizations and provides a return for outdoor learning non-profit organizations, like WAEE! In addition, they provide free professional learning. As a WAEE member, you get a 5% discount with our member code.
Green Teacher
As a member of WAEE you can get a
Green Teacher subscription discount. Enter "WAEE" in the order notes field when you check out using our online store and Green Teacher will deduct $5 when they charge your order.
* A reduced rate membership is also available for individuals and organizations. The individual discounted rate was previously limited to students, seniors, and veterans. Institutions purchasing memberships for employees should join at the full rate.
** A reduced rate or fee waiver is available to organizations who meet two of three following criteria: 1) Cannot afford the $160 organizational member fee, 2) Primarily work with communities who are economically disadvantaged (more than 75% of those served), and/or 3) Primarily work with populations historically excluded from environmental education (more than 75% of who we serve).
