Regional Networking Events

All environmental and outdoor education organizations in Wisconsin are invited to regional networking events. These networking events are sponsored by the WI Nature Centers Collaborative, an Affiliate of WAEE, and hosted at many different nature centers, camps, parks, and similar environmental and outdoor education sites. Networking events are times for staff at environmental and outdoor education organizations to meet, network, gain professional development, and explore partnerships with colleagues from similar organizations in their region and from across the state.

Networking events typically include a tour of the host site, updates on state-wide initiatives, one or two 1-hour professional development sessions on organizational management skills or environmental content, lunch time networking, and an open discussion time on issues that the attending organizations are facing. These events are a great time to learn from others, gather resources, improve skills, and form partnerships.
